We invite willing representatives of NGOs from the Jasło area to participate in a study tour to the Civic Center in Krakow. The trip will take place on February 28, and its implementation is possible thanks to the city obtaining funding from the Norwegian funds under the project “Jasło, my city, my home”.
One of the undertakings of the “Jasło, my city, my home” project is the “Establishment of a Center for Supporting the Activities of Non-Governmental Organizations,” and it is within the framework of this project that the City of Jasło is implementing the task “Substantive support of NGO’s in the form of study tours.” It is financed from the funds of the EEA Financial Mechanism 2014-2021 and the Norwegian Financial Mechanism 2014-2021 and the state budget.
The stay at the Civic Center in Kraków is intended to familiarize with the profile of the Center’s activities (social involvement and support of civic activity), to learn about the activities carried out jointly by the City of Kraków and non-governmental organizations, and is also intended to be an introduction to the subject of creating a “Place of Civic Activity”.
In order to participate in the study tour, you must send an application form completed and signed by persons representing the organization to: konsultacje@um.jaslo.pl by February 23, 2024. Please note that recruitment for the trip is on a first-come, first-served basis! In the event that we do not collect the required number of participants by February 23, we anticipate contacting organizations that express a desire to apply for more people.
As part of the project, we also anticipate another trip on March 18, 2024 (Monday) to the UrbanLab Rzeszow Urban Laboratory. We will announce recruitment for the trip to Rzeszow at a later date.
