Creative ideas of young jaślan residents awarded

308

The second edition of the Exchange of Brilliant Ideas for Jasło – a competition organized by the City of Jasło – has ended. For several months, 21 research teams composed of young Jasło residents worked on their research projects.

I am always very impressed by the ideas prepared by our young residents. Their creativity and different outlook mean that we can often find real gems among the solutions they have prepared. I am impressed by your commitment and willingness to acquire and expand your knowledge in this way ,” said Ryszard Pabian, mayor of Jasło, to the exchange-goers.

In this edition, the young people of Jaslo were divided into three categories: integration teams (which included students from the School and Educational Center in Jasło along with their peers); teams from elementary schools and high schools. The realized ideas were evaluated by an expert committee consisting of Barbara Wierdak-Cyboron (chairwoman), Wieslaw Hap and Dariusz Kos (committee members). In addition, the entire competition was supervised by Aleksandra Dacyl, an external expert.

Thanks to the fact that this competition (through the efforts of the city), was included in the list of knowledge competitions recognized in the 2023/2024 school year by the Board of Education, the distinguished and awarded teams from elementary schools can receive additional points during recruitment to secondary school.
