Three generations of Yaslan residents met at an intergenerational robotics workshop held last Saturday (June 24) at the GEN Science Generator.

During the class, under the guidance of an experienced instructor, participants constructed robots. Interestingly, the material for creating the devices were LEGO bricks, which were “brought to life” by a special program. It turned out to be a great opportunity to integrate through joint learning, as well as to stimulate creativity and build local identity. We are convinced that in the future it can translate into taking advantage of opportunities related to choosing one’s own life and career paths for the benefit of our local community.

The workshop was part of the “City is I” project, which is implemented within the framework of the “Jasło – my city, my home” project, funded by the EEA Financial Mechanism 2014-2021 and the state budget, and its main goal was to develop the interests and competencies of young people in the area of science and technology (STEAM).

Together we are working towards a green, competitive and inclusive Europe.
