On December 8 and 9 of this year, the GEN Science Generator will host the sciFestGEN#1 Science Festival. For all lovers of science and fun, we have prepared a lot of interesting attractions. You will learn about the details soon. In the meantime, all students of jasielski elementary and secondary schools from the jasielski district are invited today to participate in a unique contest. The task of its participants will be to prepare a school science stand, demonstrations and scientific presentations. We hope that together we will create an unforgettable scientific show. Attractive prizes will be waiting for the winners of the contest.
When planning the organization of the sciFestGEN#1 Science Festival, we came to the conclusion that the event should not only be aimed at children and young people, but also encourage students to actively participate in it. Therefore, we decided to encourage schools, teachers and students themselves to participate in a very interesting competition. The task of amateur scientists will be to prepare a school science station, scientific demonstrations and presentations, related to the fields of natural sciences: physics, chemistry, biology and new technologies. Students of Jasło elementary schools (grades IV-VIII) and secondary schools from the Jasło district are invited to play with science. All schools targeted by the competition are already guaranteed to participate in the scientific challenge. We are waiting for applications until 20.11.2023.
The presentation of demonstrations and school science stands will take place on December 8 in the GEN Science Generator Auditorium.
The science stands and demonstrations will be closely watched by the jury. The jury will evaluate them according to the following criteria:
– didactic value of the show,
– attractiveness,
– novelty,
– originality,
– level of interaction with visitors.
Attractive prizes in the form of educational robots, electronic equipment, scientific gadgets and sets of scientific gifts will be waiting for schools and students representing them (team members).
