Final work is underway on the construction of a new road in the Warzycki investment zone. The resulting section is 1.2 km long and connects Meblowa Street with J. Pilsudski Street. The investment, valued at nearly PLN 10.2 million, is financed from Norwegian and state budget funds, as well as from the City of Jaslo’s own funds, and is being built as part of the “Jasło – my city, my home!” project.

I am convinced that, as in the case of the other roads previously built in the Warzycka zone, this road will also contribute to increased interest from investors, because so far access to the zone was only from Bieszczadzka Street,” recalls Jasło Mayor Ryszard Pabian.
Work is currently underway on the last section of the newly constructed road from the intersection with national road No. 28 with Pilsudski Street. The work should be completed according to schedule by the end of November this year. Their contractor is Przedsiębiorstwo Robót Drogowo- Mostowych Sp. z o.o. in Jasło.

The scope of work included, among other things, the construction of: earthworks for the construction of a communal road, bicycle path, sidewalk and exits; reconstruction of colliding technical infrastructure; road drainage (rainwater drainage system with outflow of rainwater to drainage ditches and Warzycki stream); four frame culverts; communal road 5KDZ with a length of 1172 m; intersection with DK 28 – ul. Marszałka Józefa Piłsudskiego, road lighting, teletechnical canal, municipal road surface construction and green paving, as well as vertical and horizontal marking and traffic safety devices.

Investment value: PLN 9,997,155.26, including funding: PLN 6,570,993.33 – European Economic Area Financial Mechanism 2014 – 2021 (85%) and the state budget (15%); PLN 3,426,161.93 – contribution from the City of Jasło.
