Starting in September, non-governmental organizations operating in Jasło can take advantage of free support at the GEN Science Generator Social Activity Workshop in Jasło (2 Bednarska Street).
The service will include: specialized counseling, support in financial and accounting services, and support from an animator tailored to the NGO’s needs. The task will be implemented until April 2024.
Specialized counseling tailored to the needs of NGOs includes, among other things, the establishment of an association, ordinary association and foundation, handling current issues arising from the statutory activities of the organization, cooperation of the organization with public administration bodies, protection of personal data in the organization, employment of people in the organization, proper maintenance of the organization’s documentation and reporting obligations concerning the organization.
In turn, support in the field of financial and accounting services concerns, among other things, sources of funding for the organization’s activities, accounting in the organization, preparation of financial statements, accounting for targeted grants for the implementation of public tasks, and other financial, accounting and tax issues.
As for the animator’s support, the assistance includes, among other things, initiating meetings, activities and contacts between organizations, establishing partnerships, motivating social activity and raising funds and implementation of projects by NGOs.
Schedule of advisors’ availability in September:
- specialized counseling tailored to the needs of NGOs: every Tuesday in September from 8 am to 5 pm and Saturday, September 16 from 9 am to 1 pm
- counseling for financial and accounting services: Mondays and Tuesdays from 4 to 5 p.m., Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 3 to 5 p.m., and Saturdays September 23 and 30 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
- counseling and animator support – every Wednesday in September from 12 to 5 pm, Fridays on September 15, 22 and 29 from 12 to 5 pm, and Saturday, September 9 from 9 am to 1 pm.
