The “Let’s grow Jaslo!” project provides for the implementation of many activities, including several investment tasks of significant importance for the city and its residents. One of them is the comprehensive modernisation of the Specialist Outpatient Clinic building of the Specialist Hospital in Jasło, located on Chopina Street. The main objective of the investment is to improve the building’s energy efficiency. In addition, by removing architectural barriers, the facility will be adapted to the needs of people with disabilities. The task is being carried out in cooperation with Jasło County – the project partner – for which the City of Jasło obtained funding under the Swiss-Polish Cooperation Programme.
Energy efficiency and comfort
The thermal modernisation of the building will significantly reduce the facility’s operating and maintenance costs by lowering electricity and heat consumption.
The thermal modernisation works will include, among others:
modernisation of the domestic hot water system,
modernisation of the building’s external partitions, including door and window joinery,
modernisation of the heating system,
installation of a photovoltaic system,
modernisation of the built-in lighting system,
installation of a lightning protection system.
Better accessibility
In the “Let’s grow Jaslo!” project, accessibility for people with disabilities is treated as a priority and forms an integral part of infrastructure investments and other activities planned for implementation under the project. The modernisation of the facility housing the outpatient clinics will make it possible to eliminate architectural barriers that currently make it difficult for patients to access medical services.
In this respect, the building modernisation project includes, among others:
modernisation of the external ramp for people with disabilities,
construction of an external lift shaft, which will make it easier for patients to access consulting rooms on the upper floor of the building.
After completion of the investment, the Specialist Outpatient Clinic building in Jasło on Chopina Street will be both environmentally friendly and patient-friendly. The Specialist Hospital in Jasło will be directly responsible for implementing the task.
Completion of the task is planned for the first quarter of 2027.
The investment is being implemented as part of the “Let’s grow Jaslo!” project, co-financed by the Swiss Funds supporting the reduction of economic and social disparities in the European Union and by the state budget.
