Throughout the project, we are aware that it was people – Jaslo residents by birth or choice – who created or spread culture, including music, in our city. In doing so, they developed their passions and satisfied their own needs, as well as those of Jaslo residents.
The personalities of turn-of-the-century musicians and memorable events came up during study visits to cultural institutions, meetings with activists, research of documents, chronicles, biographies, websites, audio and video recordings and numerous conversations, including our “brainstorming.”
As a result of this search, 4 lists have been compiled:
- 344 recognized musicians
- 97 popular bands
- 123 attractive events

We also point out 20 people supporting musicians
Considering the enormity of the material, a preliminary selection of representative entries was made.

The project “Jasielska Suita” how the musical life of Jasło was shaped at the turn of the 20th and 21st centuries is carried out by the team: Zuzanna Dziedzic, Karolina Furmanek, Oliwia Kolasa, Magdalena Madejczyk, Katarzyna Ochwat, Luiza Waśko – students of the School Complex No. 4 in Jasło.
