Spending time together between seniors and young people reduces social distance, enables the exchange of experiences and supports the creation of valuable relationships. We were able to find out about this as part of the competition , “Exchange of Brilliant Ideas for Jasło”, when we visited seniors at the Day Care Center for the Elderly in Jasło.
During the meeting we had the opportunity to interview the seniors. Questions included how they spend their free time, the possibilities and offer of classes and activities in which they could participate with young people. The time spent with our interviewees will help us in the further implementation of our project , “Let’s connect generations. How to organize a place that will integrate young Yaslanians with seniors?”.
