On 18 May, in the hall of the Municipal Centre for Sport and Recreation in Jasło, the Jasło Job, Education and Career Fair was held. It was a great opportunity to meet companies operating on the local market, and also gave space for many meetings, talks and discussions, which took place in a pleasant and business atmosphere.
In the Work zone there were more than 20 companies of various profiles and character. We hosted the largest ones with national and global brands, but also those that operate locally. Military Recruitment Center in Jasło and 3 Subcarpathian Brigade of Territorial Defense presented their offer.
In the Education Zone, secondary schools from the Jasielsk County, consulting and training companies and universities presented themselves.
In the workshop zone 30 young people took part in meetings carried out by a professional business coach Ernest Grasela, and all willing could benefit from individual consultancy conducted by specialists from the Employment Office and the Innovo company. Innovations in business. The meetings in the circle of specialists contributed to deepening of knowledge and gaining of experience.
During the fair, a competition “Business friendly to residents” was held, the winner of which was chosen by the visitors. The contest will be resolved on June 21 this year during the Entrepreneur’s Day.
An added value of the fair are the study visits of young people to the headquarters of companies – exhibitors. There will be ten such visits, and they will be attended by pupils of primary and secondary schools as well as students. Over the next two weeks they will visit companies such as: Solgam, Erko, Splast, Jafar, Gamrat, Gamart or Nowy Styl.
