On April 27 and 28, another meeting of the EMPIRIE series of Experience Exchange Networks was held in Jasło. This unique venture of the Association of Polish Cities, based on the popular idea of networking, is implemented under the Local Development Program.
The two-day workshop was devoted to the role of youth in the life of the local government community and the needs of the younger generation in social and civic life. The meeting was attended by representatives of the Cities of Przemyśl, Goleniów and the presidents of the Youth Councils of Goleniów and Nowy Sącz.
The participants discussed their own experiences and exchanged views on the implementation of various solutions across Poland. On the first day of the workshop, a group of participants visited the GEN Science Generator, the next day, at the invitation of the management of the Municipal Social Assistance Center, the participants got acquainted with the offer of the Community Self-Help Center in Jasło.
