A modern Nursing and Care Facility will be built in Jasło.

202

The City of Jasło is launching an investment that will significantly improve the standard of long-term care. The construction of a modern Nursing and Care Facility (ZPO) will provide Jasło with a centre offering top-quality care, fully tailored to the healthcare needs of residents. The facility will accommodate 50 beds.

High specialization and patient safety

The new facility, with an area of approximately 2,170 m², will be fully adapted to the needs of chronically ill patients requiring continuous care. It will be located in a thoroughly modernized and expanded building on Wincentego Pola Street in Jasło (former seat of the College of Foreign Languages).

A key component of the facility will be a highly specialized subunit with 14 beds dedicated to patients requiring mechanical ventilation.

To ensure the highest level of safety for ventilator-dependent patients, the building will be equipped with:

  • an advanced medical gas system (oxygen, vacuum, compressed air),
  • a dedicated power generator ensuring uninterrupted operation of life-support equipment.

A patient- and environment-friendly building

The concept for the modernization and extension of the building has been designed with people with special needs in mind, including persons with disabilities. The facility will be free of architectural barriers and equipped with a modern lift for transporting patients in beds.

The facility will also serve as an example of environmentally sustainable healthcare construction. The building will be equipped with a photovoltaic installation, air conditioning, and a heat recovery ventilation system, which will significantly reduce operating costs.

The project goes beyond the construction of the facility itself. The surrounding area will also be developed, including green spaces with walking paths and rest areas.

According to the schedule, the first patients are expected to be admitted in 2029.

The investment is implemented as part of the project “Let’s grow Jaslo!”, co-financed by the Swiss Funds supporting the reduction of economic and social disparities within the European Union and by the state budget.
